Does EraserCash pay for spam traffic?

'Cause I'm getting a SHITLOAD of spam, with Internet Eraser on the exits. Wouldn't like these fuckers to end up winning a free car or something.

Already reported to the host, and a few of those spam organisations, but I'm not sure whether this applies to spammers with programs on their exits...

I agree! ( me as an individual who gets spam to my own emailbox OUTSIDE of work!)

Let me clarify for people like "nocostporn".... I am talking about MY personal emailbox. ( I do have my own identity). When I get spam to MY mailbox, I just hit delete also. Last time I checked "I agree" DOES NOT mean Scorescash.

Usually I would, and block the sender... but this one keeps coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming. It is worse than that fucking Klez virus.

I'll be just that little bit happier if I can spend 10 minutes and nuke a spammer's account. Whoever it is, they're promoting their own site with ARS and Eraser Cash on the exits, and hosted at LikeWhoa.

go ahead and mark me down too then...

if people exerted the kind of energy they take in tracking down the evil spammers into running their own thing they might actually make a few dollars...

see, here's what you do...let the spammers keep growing and growing and growing and suddenly there will be an oversaturation and people will stop clicking the little links in their emails and spam won't make any money and the spamming will slow down or maybe even stop....but as long as people keep clicking links and spammers keep sending 100-150 joins per day, it's not going to stop......

personally, I prefer to spend my time making my own fortune than worrying about how someone else makes theirs....

Actually, I am talking about the kind of spam that I (meaning me ) nothing to do with work, ( I am my own person you know) get in MY mailbox. I just hit delete also.

                        1) what you do doesn't matter to me..you're a self proclaimed spammer
2)if you're a program that says "we do not tolerate spamming"(which scorecash does) then when I send a spam complaint i want it taken care of... not a rep to say "just delete it"

the comment was directed at her,not anybody else

FYI,every spammer doesn't send 100 joins a day so knock that shit off... I just hate the little spammers ...could careless about the big ones *cough cough*

You simply misunderstood me! I said " I agree" meaning when I get Spam to MY PERSONAL mailbox, I just hit delete. Not once did I mention anything about a Spam complaint. Scorescash DOES NOT tolerate spam. We DO NOT delete the complaints, we take them VERY seriously.
But, when I get Spammed to my account say from "company ABC" , I just hit delete. NOT once did I say anything about deleting complaints to Scorescash, or that I agree with Spamming. I forgot who I am dealing with.....everything gets blown out of the water here.

Don't be naive - there are large spamming operations that participate with most large affiliate programs. It's all about how much green you can generate and how good you can be at the spamming. Me personally? I don't do it and I won't allow it either.

Maybe that applies to n00bs that don't know their head from their ass, or people that take it to the extreme, but for everyone else... huh? I don't think that was really directed right at me, so its all good. There are few things I hate more than a bragging asshole: so I don't want to sound like one, but I can assure you that I'm getting the $. I seriously doubt that income varies in direct correlation with the amount of spam a person receives... or a person's reaction to that spam. Time management is all good, but there is no reason to take it to the extreme. Just think about the money you're losing next time you take a shit.

Maybe we should all take a little time to <a href="http://gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51054">ruin and icq spammer's day?</a>

Big affiliate programs love spammers, they send them 1,000's of signups & then kill their account, keeping all the money to themselves. Then send you a lovely letter thanking you for turning the spammer in.

Get the fuck over it, criminalize it & it will move to another country where its not illegal.

It will never stop, spend the time you spend erasing it & reporting them, figuring out a way to stop it from getting in your box.

                                  You head-in-the-sand motherfucker.

Yes, cause "Just Hit Delete" will sure stop the flood of spam. Did ya know that AT&T reported this year that an estimated 33% of their network traffic is spam related? Do you think the spammers paid for that bandwidth? They sure as FUCK did not. You and I did, through our ISPs. It costs us money to recieve this shit.

Everyone that says "just hit delete" is making the problem worse. ISPs DO nuke spammers, and they will only do so if they get complaints about it.

Spammers are thieves, and will continue to steal from us until they are stopped by legislation (which is in the US Congress right now, and hopefully won't suck ass). Spam is growing every month. At the rate it is going it will take the email system out entirely if it's left unchecked. Then who will be saying just hit delete when they can't get any emails because their servers are all too congested to send or recieve mail.

                                  Death to all spammers,

God, on some days I get over 300 spam mails... It totally freaks me out... I keep on changing my emails over and over again...

it doesn't work when people say "oh spam's no big deal" so it encourages 5 more people to do it.

after a while you wind up blocking most of the internet, which eventually will break emails you WANT to get.

i for one would report spam as i get it but i used to get so fucking much i couldn't report it fast enough. now i installed a spam filter and get almost none.

"just hit delete" is bullshit. "block the sender" is bullshit. how would you block the sender? based on subject line text which always changes? how about block the from: address? Return-path: ? ip address of mail server?

good luck. i tried for months. this is the only thing that has worked. i keep all my spam though because i will deal with it sometime soon... if they want to waste my time and resources i'll do the same for them.

33% of e-mail & 33% of phone calls are spam related

It has yet to take out the phone system, i doubt it will take out the e-mail system.

I have yet to receive one spam e-mail this month. With the exception of Monter.com sending me their stupid ass tips & tricks to landing a 250k a year job.

I do not support e-mail spam, i am simply stating that if legislation passes in the U.S. it will mean jack shit because spammers will move their operation outside the U.S.

Im just a realist...& i realize you can't stop them, so find a way to deal with it or have a heart attack being pissed off about it.

33% of phone calsl are spam? doubt that

and I also doubt people will be moving "operations" out of the U.S. ... seeing that the larger percentage of spammers are small time and most likely underage... you can't really stop it but it needs to slow down... how do you feel as a legit webmaster that people are just stealing your signups?...even if its 1 signup, multiply that by 1000 spammers..thats taking A LOT away from people who are doing it the right way, working hard....

They've already started doing it. As soon as U.S. states started passing laws companies started setting up shop in Canada because there are no laws against it here; I don't think any are even being discussed. Also a lot of spam has moved on over to the networks in Asia.

Financially I say spam is good for the overall economy....Supply and Demand baby...

If ISP's get 'clogged up' that means they "NEED" to buy more pipe and equipment to suport the flow of biz right? Therefore someone is buying more pipe, etc.....think of all the tax money made & paid by spammers....if you think spamming is a bad thing, which of course it has quite a few downfalls too, thing it through one more time without your pre-programmed hate of spam hat on....

It's more Earth-Friendly than direct mail as it doesn't end up in a big land-fill, it's less annoying than harrassing phone calls during dinner, and for me it sure beats watching commercials I don't give a fuck about during TV programs....

Spam haters are why monopolies begin and flourish, they ONLY want their propoganda sent to them by the 'biggest of players that are OK in their eyes' and a the same time bitch about Microsoft and big government, LOL..... if it becomes illegal here, it will at least have consequences for violators. also, it will narrow down the locations where spam can come from. it will make it much easier to block and eventually the same laws could be applied to those countries.

sure there are countries who don't care about laws for the most part like russia, but then you can just find ip addresses that resolve to russian internet providers and ban those easier by knowing specific regions where spam is coming from at that point.

first off, maybe they didn't like people posting as the board's name. some people might think it reflects on the board.

don't get all up in arms and talk about "freedom of speech" - here's your definition.

The most basic component of freedom of expression is the right of freedom of speech. The right to freedom of speech allows individuals to express themselves without interference or constraint by the government.
freedom of speech doesn't mean you can say anything anywhere and be allowed to say it. it's lens's board, when it comes down to it he can say what he wants, ban who he wants, or do anything he wants. there's nothing illegal or breaking any amendment.

the amendment was setup so that people did not have to fear the government for speaking their mind, since that is really the only body that could legally hurt someone for speaking their mind.

no one has any legal obligations to allow you to post, in fact it's quite the opposite; i believe if you've been repeatedly asked and banned you could face some sort of cease and desist with possible legal actions if you continued to post once warnings had been issued (not saying they have in this case.. but there is nothing guaranteeing your usage of this site.)
php/mysql guru. hosting, coding, all that jazz.

Wow, again, I must ask you to think it through.

I was shocked to see that notice when I merely tried to reply and continue discussing this issue. My main goal was to have a few webmasters think about this issue from another side of the coin and to exercise their heads a little.

Oh well, I guess it's more politically correct in the GFY world to ban someone for trying to make people think than to ban someone that gives away free porn to children all day long.

Although I'm sure I could be wrong.

But I think to myself....has the price of Coca Cola or Pepsi gone down over the past few years? The cost of smokes gone down? The cost of ammunition gone down? Hmmm, nope, last I checked the price of almost everything usually goes up in time

Collect your own emails...that's right, put an email catcher on all your galleries instead of a banner....why do you think Join4Free, FEB, etc. are paying what they are for signups? Email marketing, when done CORRECTLY, can be highly profitable...don't buy a shitty 5 million email cd for $50 and think you'll make any money...put up your own email box and double opt-in the surfers and send them a daily newsletter with a couple jokes and links to a couple pics...get them used to your emails, then slowly add more advertisements to your mailers and watch your income rise...

fuck, now I let the cat out of the bag...there go my profit margins ;))))))))
