Dogma is a framework of beliefs that arise from the culture in which it originates. The dogma is what the conflicts are over.
Alternatively, mysticism transcends all religions and is the basis for personal transformation that fundamentally shifts one's world view. Mysticism dating back to the shaman's drug induced visions, is the real thing.
The dogma is just mankind's cultural overlay trying to make sense of the mysticism and give some rules for moral behavior.
