ok, I bought some content and it's on a wee little digital video casette. I need it on a cd to do anything with it. Can anyone help?

Im not 100%, but i think you need to put the disc in the camera, plug camera into your computer and download it.Comment

if you have a digital video camera, it has a tape in it... this doesn't matter... hook it up to your pc and burn it to a cd

if it's on a digital video cassette (dig8) you'll need a DV camera and a firewire card usually to get it onto the computer.php/mysql guru. hosting, coding, all that jazz.Comment

Sleeezy, here's what you do.; You are gonna need a digital camera for this or at least a mini dv player, there's no way around that. I would imagine you have a laptop. Instead of buying an unnecassary piece of equipment for this one little project do what I do when I need a simple thing done and I am on the road & away from a critical piece of equipment...
Go to the electronics store and take your firewire or 1394 cord and load it from one of their demo cameras. Yeah, I know it's the cheap bastard way but in cases like this... it works!
If the clerk looks at you funny slip him a $5 or $15cdn which is more than he makes in and hour and you will be fine.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
