Paying $50 to fix my site problem.

Seriously guys, my designer did a nice job, but we can't figure out why the site is sooo slow loading.

It appears that all the flash video files are preloading before anything else, slowing the entire load time.

Can anybody figure out how to make it load quickly, and when a person clicks on the play button, the flash video then loads and plays, or am I nuts?

$50paypal to the lucky guy that fixes it.

    Thanks!
May be away from computer for a while, but will check messages later for sure.

I think there is somthing in the swf files set incorrectly, they are protected so I can't look or change them.
I would just Link an embeded player off an image like this:

      Example of Pornhideout.com
(keep in mind that I broke all but the first two flash movies for time sake)

It loads fast now, but the videos are still loading dog slow, which is making me think it's the swf files and not the player or the embed...
if you want I can take a look at the files but I need to get the unprotected ones. I don't do much in flash, but why would you want to preload all that data for every visitor, you are just wasting bandwidth, I would try and turn off the preload in the flash file for this implementation...

Then you only load it for the visitor that clicks it...
iCQ me if you need more help...

          quick solution:

ask webdesigner to make a pre-caching / pre-loader for the swf files
(an pre-loader with an thumb or even an animated swf/image will do wonders to keep the surfer waiting.. he/she WILL leave this site at the current load speed)

around 3 3-4Mb+ files are TOO heavy for the normal user at the beginning of the main page.. first the browser will try to load those entirely and then the rest of the relative small images.

          long solution:

redo site and skip LARGE swf files

ps the entire main page is over 8MB! thats not normal
again make use of pre-loading/caching/external usages!

            as for the play button

thats just the way the desinger made it
you can also use diffferent types of swf players, with / without playlists, autoplay, loop you name it..
ask/kick designer to adjust it if you dont want it this way

end of todays gfy help session...

Tables and Image slices. You're designer did an ok job with the design, but if he did the html code he failed miserably.
