Well... there's also the chance that it could go terribly wrong. PornoTube's only chance is to try and make a settelment. That could result in some kind of deal with them and Vivid which is what we Don't want.

Why might Vivid even cosider doing that that?? Because they could turn PornoTube to their advantage. PornoTube could basically become a asset of Vivid.

This would also give Vivid an advantage over other producers (as if they need one)... in that they should be the only ones to reap the rewards of their legal battle with PornoTube. Vivid put up the cash for this action and so logically they should be the ones to benefit from it the most.

That would leave other producers having to file their own law suits and that costs a lot of $$$.

Hopefully Vivid will maintain their FUCK YOU Attitude (which seems to be the case).... and Show No Mercy. That would be best for everyone.

It will be months before we know the outcome.

I liked PornoTube when they let webmasters submit original content samples with posting the URL of where to get more, but now they just allow surfers and to submit videos which most are not used with permission. IMO, they should have it the other way around.

Surfers should have to prove the content is owned by them, or it can't be posted. Since they don't do that, PornoTube will most likely lose.

And to Pornotube, I've seen some of my content posted on your site without my permission, so I'm sure this is only the beginning of the lawsuits.

the DMCA has a safe harbour provision as long as you honor COMPLIENT DMCA take down requests.

wishing the law was different so that porotube will lose does not make it true.
