Ya, electronics is one area where it still pays big to buy from the US.

I just bought a GPS hard drive system for my Kenwood touchscreen in my car from a dealer on ebay. It cost me $400.00 with shipping.

Up here it goes for $700+. Doesn't make much sense.

Takes too long until they adjust it and by then the dollar is below par like today .Even trying to get a used car here is like 3 grand extra by the time it's done

There are a few stores that are cluing in here and adjusting their prices on US goods to match what you'd pay in the states. They have to, because it's either that or people make the trip across the border and spend their money there instead of here.

With the dollar nearly at par there's no reason why we should pay such retardedly high prices.
