    Running a tube site the legal way...

    okay so we all know how to run a shady and none legal tube site, but why not give a few pointers as how to run one the legal one....

    one would be to buy your own content and upload....


    what companies allow you to post a short clip of their video then have a link with their banner to their sign up page?

      so you want to open a MGP?

      I am sure lots of companies will give you short clips to use on your tube site, i think some will even host the clips for you. Its just that your tube site will not be popular with short clips because it is basically a MGP that is a little more user friendly.

      Props to you for wanting to do it the right way and not stealing content or allowing stolen content. Good luck with it.

                  Will is right with one point: 30 second clips won't cut it, as long as it isn't stuff that looks like "real amateur", 2-3 mins or even longer is probably much better...just make sure there isn't enough action in longer clips to make a guy wank off

                      It would be against my TOS for affiliates to add their logo to my clips. Other than that, I would love to have every one of my promo videos on every tube site out there.

                      If I ever saw anything else other than one of my promo videos I would seriously take every action possible.

                              youtube wouldn't be where it is if they didn't kind of turn a blind eye to all the copyrighted material people were uploading. Its how they got popular in the first place.
