    what's going on in the cam world?

    I've been gone for many years but I'm thinking of coming back

    I'm looking back into working cam while I decide if I want to fully come back or not. Are there some networks out there now that you would recommend over others for a cam girl?

    Specifically what I would like is a network that would allow me to operate a voyeur-type cam where I am simply working on my laptop in bed or at my desk in my home office wearing lingerie or nude working away at my professional job. I want the camera pointed at my body not my face and I don't want to chat. I simply want it to be a peep-show type thing. When a customer comes into chat he can tell me if he wants the cam on my body or a closeup and I will do a show and pleasure myself rather than bore myself making small talk or coercing some looser who will never actually pay.

    Any ideas?

          okay I tried but I can't remember my icq password and I don't feel like registering another just to use for the day. I just reactivated my old email, can't wait to see how much xxx spam is still being sent to it lol

                              Are you kidding me? I had all kinds of sites before and you know which one made me the most money? One that showed my waist down only. lol Infact that one is STILL rebilling even though it hasn't been updated in 4 years

                              I think it's for two reasons. 1) it's the whole voyeur peeping tom thing for the guy. The girl isn't being fake on his account, she's simply pleasuring herself and that is hot. and 2) It helps guys in relationships not feel as guilty because the girl is nameless and faceless

                                                                  It's seems like what your looking for would be imlive. where you can sit in regular chat and just wait for a viewer to come in your room, and if later on you feel like you want to come back full time in the cam world you can click on imlive's free chat feature

                                                                  but with the way cam is your going to do a little bit more then just sit there and have the cam on your breast. it's a lot more competitive now, and you know what the girls who have stuck it out in the hard times know how to handle the small boring chit chat.

                                                                  advice from a current cam girl.

                                                                          I agree with Minnie. There are so many women doing cams now, you have to work it to get your shows. They have hundreds of women to chose from and just seeing you from the waist down will not cut it anymore. People want to see what you look like from head to toe. Sometimes I put the cam on my boobs or lower when I am working on website stuff and everyone wants to see the face. It is easier to do a whole body shot. Plus you can cut the chit chat down, just ask them to do a show. I do shows on Imlive and Camz and they are both great companies to work with.

Work 20 hours and make $1000 a week. Now in hind sight she should of lived on there,milking it for every dime. lol

                                                                                                              I know when I started in 2004 solo without being held captive by a studio I would make 10,000 a month life was fucking great, but now if I want to keep my status of 100 to 200 a day I have to put in more spark in my shows, which still keeps me on my toes.

                                                                                                                  That is cool you are on those sites. I am mainly on privatecamz. I also do member shows weekly on their Amateurcamz site. That helps the people get to know you, and then they go over to privatecamz to buy private shows. I have been with Camz almost three years. I think personality is key too. People like good looking women, but they also like nice and fun ones. Yes it is amazing how many people want to see a smile or your face.

And minnie and Jane thanks so much for your input...Flynn is right, it's great to see girls on this forum! Everything you are saying is very legitimate...I am just trying to do something specific and am not trying to make $200/day. I'm not going to go into details because it has to do with my specific situation at home in my personal and work life. In general as a camgirl everything you are saying is right but what I am trying to do is a little bit different. If you get a chance to talk to Flynn I recommend it, he was always very nice to me, even back 4 years ago when I was new to being a webmaster and he's helping me with this most current project, going above and beyond what most webmasters would do.
