You are right but its not going to change when it costs almost a billion dollars to be come president. I had heard some little shit congress race is now 5 million. That money has to come from somewhere. We will never see a Franklin or a Teddy or an IKE in our lifetime because of that.
I guess wehateporn is a voter. What a dumb sheeple he is.
This was a fresh faced 21yo student part way through his maths degree, didn't believe in inside-jobs, trusted Big Pharma, I remember watching the Desert Fox bombing of Iraq in 1998 and thinking it was a good thing.
Anyone who bases their success or failure off some clown "in office" deserves whatever fate he gets. He has given his power away and therefore doesn't even exist
You were a Ron Paul supporter. Why did you encourage people to vote for Ron Paul? You were encouraging people to give their power away? Thanks a lot asshole!

So today you're no longer pro-life because you're wiser?

I don't do business with people based on their politics. So fuck you, i'm leaving the links up.
“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”
i don't promote you vote for the asshole that wants to get rid of PBS
You see... This is fucking typical! The man doesn't want to get rid of PBS. He wants PBS to fucking pay its own way. Do you know how many hundreds of millions of dollars all of those Sesame Street movies have made and yet your tax dollars are supporting it. Pay fucking attention!

I'm still anti-abortion, but that used to be one of the main injustices in the world that I was aware of, now I know of so many more. I tend to write articles these days about the things I care about, some of them get a lot of publicity, others don't.
Anyway, I know what you're doing here, but I've got work to do.

You need to brush up on facts.
PBS does not own Sesame Street. In fact, it only pays $1.5 million a year to license it.
PBS also has numerous fund raisers and auctions to generate donations..
If people want it, they should support it.
The bigger point is crying about PBS highlights the lack of a real fiscal plan, nitpicking over a nickel when you could save a dollar dealing with the bigger problems.

The fact that neither Romney nor Obama is talking about prosecuting the very same Wall Street criminals who tanked the economy tells me that there's no significant difference between either of them.
They're both deep in Wall Street's pocket.
Where they do differ however is on the "small" things.
Small things such as middle class taxation, women's rights, bible thumping and . . . prosecuting so called "obscenity".
That's why I'll never understand why anyone in this business would choose to vote Republican.

The republican fiscal plan is posted at 1000's of places online. The cornerstone is not PBS or Planned Parenthood funding. They are just a few that were quoteworthy.

Do any of those 1000s of places online, show specifically where the 20% tax cuts would come from, and how the tax increases on the wealthy will be offset so that they don't actually end up paying more?

Romney's point was that it was an example of a waste of tax payer money, not that it was a major one. My original point was that Democrats as usual were taking what he said and twisting it into he "wants to get rid of pbs" bullshit!

How is it twisting it when it's pretty specific that it is exactly what he wants to do? It's straight from his mouth, and it isn't taken out of context. He wants to stop funding PBS, period.

PBS can sell commercials. Not funding PBS with tax money is not getting rid of PBS. PBS can fund itself.

The point is big or small, things need to change to get this country out of debt. 1,000 small things add up to being a lot. ask program owners and affiliates that have many websites, one may only make a couple thousand a month but when you add them all together they are making good money.

Ah I see. You meant "get rid of PBS" was twisting his words. Right, he wants to stop funding PBS.
"meaning federal funding via CPB accounted for about 12% of PBS 2010 annual revenues." - $71 million
So it does look like PBS could find ways to fund itself and stay afloat, based on the portion of federal funds it actually receives.
I'll just repeat what Neil de Grasse Tyson said about it to make the point I tried to make with Minte earlier.
"Cutting PBS support (0.012% of budget) to help balance the Federal budget is like deleting text files to make room on your 500Gig hard drive"
I think people, voters, that aren't already all up in the Republican party's ass, just see someone focus on that 0.012% and know immediately they have no real plan. These are just talking points to throw out for bobbing heads.

So if he wants to get the country out of debt he will be raising taxes and cutting defense spending, right? I don't recall mentioning that but he did take his time during a nationally televised debate to talk about $100 million to PBS.
Then again talking about that probably prevented him from telling a 28th lie.

And if I had an employee that guaranteed he would reduce his departments budget by %50 in four years and he actually raised it.. He would be released.
(Reuters) - One month after taking office, President Barack Obama summoned the nation's top lawmakers and budget experts to the White House for a summit to figure out how to tame huge federal deficits.
Standing at a podium in the elegant East Room, the Democratic president wasted no time in reminding his audience, which included Republican congressional leaders, that he had just inherited a $1.3 trillion deficit in the midst of "an economic crisis unlike any we have seen in generations."
He gave a finger-waving talk on fiscal responsibility and boldly pledged to halve the deficit in four years.

I didn't hear Mr Obama bring any budged cutting ideas to this interview!
