well? are they just using torrented dvds because some of it just seems like a hong kong rip.

japanese content I heard from gfyers that people don't have license to resell.

I have personally bought content form Japanese producers. It is possible, but for them it's not really legal to sell it uncensored. But money talks.

A lot of these sites have some licensed content and most of the members areas is just rips (unlicensed)

This isn't news, anybody thats been in the Asian niche knows that 80% of Japanese paysites have unlicensed content. Yep the only niche that you can get away with it. Nobody does shit not even the billers as I tried to report certain sites a hundred times. I've given up along time ago and stopped caring. It was like this over a decade ago and it will remain this way.

But yeah, Japanese content owners only care about Japan. Otherwise they'd make uncensored versions for the foreign markets. Which they would make a killing at.

I am pretty sure AMP is straight. They have so much censored content, Japanese would be all over them.

I sell real Japanese dvds. That are manufactured in Taiwan. Japanese worry about their market. The people they license to, are supposed to worry about everywhere else. They tend to go after people quietly. With lawyers. So beware. They will get around to you sooner or later. These are people you do not want to steal from. piriod. (sic)

Well that's basically why I assumed that AMP was legit since they've been at it for about 13 years. Same with Idolbucks but maybe I'm just naive.
I don't really know a lot about the inner workings of the JAV biz, I just promote it a little bit and am constantly amazed that it still converts at all in spite of everything.

I did notice that AMP had an "uncensored" bonus site going on for a while that quietly and mysteriously disappeared.

I guess thats why some of their FHG just disappeared and I was getting emails asking to remove certain models. Who did they settle with?
