    google settlement fund for $0.19.

    I just got a check from the Hanson v google settlement fund for $0.19. Does anyone know what it's from? LOL I framed it and put it on my desk.

      Seems to be related to adwords.

          Wonder also what happens to the funds when the period for depositing the checks expires. All of those sub-$1 checks that people won't bother to deposit may cumulatively be worth a bit.

              Yeah it was an adwords settlement. The amount you got all depended on how much money you spent on adwords during that period. Mine check was less than a dollar as well, you know the lawyers got the bulk of the money. Seems like I always get some letter about a class action lawsuit and then get a $1 check months later. Sending out a 0.19 check seems like a waste since it cost 0.45 to send it out, WTF!
