I was wondering how long it would take you to start talking about wars. Second page. Not bad. Though I am confident you could have worked it into the first page somehow.Originally posted by JohnnyClipsYea that's bad but let's not talk about the trillions of dollars made in wars and killing people....instead lets go after David Icke for selling $30 in the free market

Can you people demanding evidence from "conspiracy nuts", post your evidence for the following:
1. 19 Arabs did 9/11
2. NASA landed on the moon
3. Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy
Thanks.
Oh, I'm not asking for links to any other websites. Just the evidence you know about in your own head. Assuming your belief is not just based on what you've been told happened, that is.Comment

1. If the government has no problem blowing the WTC, why couldn't they just plant WMDs in Iraq? What? That's too complicated or too immoral? Can you people demanding evidence from "conspiracy nuts", post your evidence for the following:

2. There are fucking laser ranging reflectors on the moon that were places there by Apollo astronauts that are used to this day to measure the distance from the Earth to the moon. It's nto a big secret and the public (including other countries) have free access to use them
3. I dont really care either way.
4. How do you know that the Moon even exists? It could just be big lie made up by the lizard people.Last edited by baryl; 10-13-2012, 04:47 PM.Comment

Why would they need to plant evidence? The job was done, mission accomplished, they had their war. Now, try and address the question: what is the evidence you know of that causes you believe that 19 Arabs did 9/11?
The USSR put at least one laser reflector on the moon. Guess that means they landed human beings on it too, huh.2. How do you even know there was a war in Iraq? You been there? If so, how can you be sure it actually was Iraq? Maybe it was New Mexico. Or are you just trusting what the media tells you like a sheep?Last edited by baryl; 10-13-2012, 05:14 PM.Comment

I'm guessing by your repeated avoiding of the question that you know of no evidence that 19 Arabs did 9/11, and you believe it simply because that's what you've been told.
Don't worry, it's how most people 'think'. For some reason some of them, as on this forum, delude themselves that believing whatever the media/Government tells them (without question) makes them smarter than "conspiracy nuts" who actually spend time looking at the evidence.Last edited by helterskelter808; 10-13-2012, 05:23 PM.Comment

It's only the more palatable aspects of conspircacy theory that "go mainstream".
We're seeing this right now in the UK with the Jimmy Savile scandal. They've been banging on about Savile for years on the David Icke forums. But while the public have no problem believing that Savile was a child abuser and possibly a high ranking mason, they'll stop short of declaring him an alien shapeshifter.Comment
-
Seems from what I've read about Savile that he got away with it because he knew too many people in high places who were doing the same thing.
He even openly admitted in his autobiography 40 years ago that he got away with it because otherwise he'd take police officers with him.
Now he's in no position to name other people involved, everyone is free to talk about what he did. The public probably just thinks it was him, and a handful of other celebrity sickos, ignoring the police, judges and politicians involved.Comment

Threads like this would be way more interesting if the person making all the accusations (JohnnyClips) actually responded to the questions others pose. Instead, he's more like Paul Ryan in the last VP debate, avoiding the answers because he doesn't really have any.- Free Premium Domain Lists and Tools at Clickmojo.com

It's alleged that Savile supplied boys from a care home to Edward Heath (former PM) to abuse on his yacht. Those boys subsequently disappeared. Yet the media, and by extension the public, are not demanding an investigation into Heath's activities, because that would blow the lid off the whole system.Comment

It isn't any kind of a conspiracy, and I'm sure the kids he abused would probably agree. The point is that it's an example of a conspiracy theory going mainstream, but without all the alien shit attached to it.Comment

JohnnyClips was talking about it as if it were some illuminati or occult conspiracy, and that everyone else was sheep. I hadn't actually been aware of it myself, but maybe it's huge news in the UK, and of course those who follow David Icke.- Free Premium Domain Lists and Tools at Clickmojo.com

It is huge news in the UK. And not everyone who reads the David Icke forums follows David Icke. Their thread on Jimmy Savile has had over 280,000 views, many of whom have been referred by newspapers, sports forums etc.
I don't believe in illuminati, because to me it just obscures perception of the truth. But there probably was an occult/ritualistic element to the abuse, simply because occult practices are empowering to the practicioner.Comment

I guess I'm still confused about the "conspiracy theory" angle regarding it, where no one believed it except David Icke followers and then now it's mainstream reality. Was David Icke involved in it?- Free Premium Domain Lists and Tools at Clickmojo.com

David Icke worked at the BBC at a time when Savile's activities were known to BBC staff, but largely hidden from the public.Comment

I think it would be hard for Icke to get it wrong about this. He was speaking about it, but many other figures in the media also knew it to be true.
For his other beliefs, I think that many of them are largely illustrative and allegorical. It isn't a matter of "getting it right", it's more a matter of getting people to think more and question more. But the trouble is that Icke comes across like he's got too much noise going on in his head. I've known people like him, and they never had any peace of mind.Comment

The thing about government conspiracies is, they sometimes turn out to be true. And based on history, most governments have done some really out there and horrible shit. However, religious beliefs never come true. Not once. And they never will. So I classify religious whack jobs to be in a much worse category than the typical conspiracy theorist.

So...we're not "free" or "empowered" unless we're enlightened with advanced alien knowledge and technology?Originally posted by JohnnyClipsThen you would admit that aliens exist and that the government and the powers that be are hiding all sorts of information and knowledge that could free and empower us.
I'm not claiming aliens exist...nor denying they do. I've not sat down and had a beer with one (yet)...so my jury is still out.
But my life doesn't feel it's lacking because my car doesn't fly like the Jetsons or that I don't have fresh fruit from Zeta Reticuli on my breakfast cereal.Comment
