That is really sad but i do have to wonder, why did she keep checking facebook where most of her problems stemmed from, why didnt she just delete her account and walk away from that site?

Leaving aside the bullying, which is sickening, a guy takes pics of her and posts them online not once but twice, and nothing happens?

Even if she was not underage that is blackmail, harassment and intimidation. Why was that guy not tracked down and prosecuted?

I was meaning that the news can influence cirtin type of people who want there message heard is all, that in any which was was not done her by the late Amanda Todd . Amanda was not this type!

Okay, just sounded like saying she'd do something like this just for attention (which I'm sure some people probably do seriously think or say). The sad thing is that, while there's a lot of attention now, in a week it will be forgotten, and thousands of other unknown people will continue to suffer the way she did.

Hopefully the attention can get something concrete done to prevent this kind of abuse/bullying.

Yeah, she is a local, I grew up 5 minutes from where she went to school, Ive lost 2 friends to suicide in my short life, who were also from the lowermain land . oh I beleave she didnt want to press charges to that kid who posted her picture online because she didnt want to make a scene.

Such a tragedy that the young kids feel suicide is the only option.I hope the cops will at least scare the shit out of the bullies but in reality I don't think much will happen to them
