I'd say don't fire him. Instead, manage those you pay for services better. Voice to them actually how you wish to have things delivered as the client. Getting on the same page will likely save you the trouble of finding a new accountant. The less people that know your revenue and business model the better imo. Just a poor bastards opinion though. I don't even need an accountant. I don't make enough for one.Comment

Doesn't even ask any details about my work, and emails are 2 sentences long usually, to the point. Seems pretty good for a number of years already

Verry very annoying. I just wrote an email of complaint to his boss. Once again this year he left everything so late that the documents were passed to the tax department on the VERY LAST DAY. They had to send a messenger to hand deliver.
It's like this EVERY YEAR even though I give him the stuff within a month of year end closing.
