    What tools do you use to work smarter?

    What tools do you use to automate your tasks? The idea of working smarter these days is an absolute necessity, especially if you are a solo operator, so I would like to know what tools are you currently using to help maximize your time and increase your ROI?

                                  Excel is one of the main tools I use.

                                      +1 for excel, I freaking love this program and use it heavily and would be lost without it. Word is another standard I lean on and the last one would be ultraedit (just a text editor). those three are up and running on my PC from the time I turn it on until I shut it down.

                                          I'm excel retarded. I use it but at a very basic level. Should probably spend some time to dig into it.

                                                  so was I and I still am to some extent, but if you ask around your bound to find someone who is an excel guru who can help you out with it, maybe write a couple of formulas that you're looking for... once you have used those a couple of times like that it becomes addictive, at least it did for me.

                                                  I used to think it was stupid... rows and columns to infinity but geesh, it can do a lot.

                                                  my guru sent me this formula a while ago when I asked her about a specific thing I wanted done... it blew me away LOL
