It´s no secret here in Venezuela how those in high seats in PDVSA (the national oil company) are becoming incredibly rich overnight.

Prior to a few sudden ugly decisions during WW2, Hitler was one of the greatest leaders in history. So there was really nothing to "tolerate." He brought Germany back to life and had a 98-99% approval rating. That is why the people of Germany stood by him during WW2.
Saddam on the other hand did nothing for Iraq that warranted Iraqis allowing him to stay in power. Fact is, the people of Iraq are some of the biggest cowards in the entire world. That is why so little progress has been made there since the start of the war.

And by the looks of it he is going to choose to ignore the people´s vote and he is still going to try to push his socialist constitution on the country using the completely pro-Chavez congress. Even more democratic.
Despite the current constitution stating clearly that once a constitutional reform has been defeated it cannot be presented again during the same presidential period.
He is not going to rest until he drives this country to a civil war apparently.
