Obama isn't giving details as to his plan either.
Because if either of them reveal what they are going to have to do (cutting) they are going to alienate part of their voter base.
Doesn't matter anyway...average Americans don't have the time or patience to figure out complicated tax code changes even if either one did give out details.
I was watching Bill Maher's show this last Friday on HBO and he said something that was pretty funny.
He spoke about the 5 or 6 % of Americans who are "undecided" in the swing states who will be the ones deciding who wins this election.
He pointed out that the media makes it seem like they are great scholars who are endlessly pouring over policy and studying the candidates positions...then he showed some famous "Undecided" voters like Kim Kardashian!



He said if you can't tell the difference between Obama and Romney after Obama has been president for 4 years and Romney has been running for president since 2008...then you probably shouldn't be voting.
