      Anywhere from 5 mins to 1 hour -- of course provided this is for non-emergency issues.

      If its an emergency - preferably you'd want a live way to contact the host so they're aware of the problem immediately.

              After getting used to phatservers response times (usually less than 10 minutes) I would be pretty disappointed by 6 hours.

              Within an hour I would find OK.
