Google toolbar - GFY SCanner 1.0

GFY Scanner 1.0

I built a cool little custom tool for your google toolbar.

Click here to add it to your google toolbar

What it does is gets the latest threads from gfy and feeds it into a button on the google toolbar.

By default it will check gfy every few minutes for new threads and display the top 25, or you can manually refresh it and get live results.

When you click the link a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to add the custom button to the google toolbar.

once you have it installed it will look like this

p.s. i have made quite a few "porn" buttons for google toolbar, google offers quite a few cool features with the custom buttons that would be great for some people.

One of the cooler ideas i had recently was for a review site to use this feature.

one of the neat features that would make this very valuable is for google to send information on the current page when a custom button is clicked. So if a review site made a custom button to let surfers check for reviews on paysites when they are at them.

i.e. surfer finds www.milfhunter.com , surfer clicks review custom google toolbar button to check for reviews and rank of how good the site is . reviewer gets the referral

it works for firefox if you have the google toolbar..

you can install the google toolbar and basically remove almost every part of it but the custom buttons if you want..

not really i figure with the bandwidth saved of not having to load the images and buttons and features from the main page will save bandwidth. it all depends i guess on how often it checks the server

Pretty cool! Would be nice if there was a way to see new posts also...

yup infact im just working on that and an icon system to display different icons for threads with words you might want to flag

i.e. so it shows a red icon anytime someone mentions the word smokey in the title etc.

if theres enough interest i will also do a rating system so that people can rate the threads and ones with too many negative ratings will not be displayed

well i could pull the results thru googles wireless transcoder if i had too , then the only way they could ban it is if they ban google from reading gfy .

besides i think if they spent a little time on it with a tiny bit of the cash they make they could make one even better that also helps speed gfy up.

something i just noticed , in firefox it doesnt have an option to manually refresh the results , that kinda sucks. i will have to make it refresh faster for firefox users

if your using firefox remove the old one i made first , then add THIS ONE
instead.

it has a few extra features that don't seem to work on ie

it will allow you to search gfy thu google by highlighting text on a page..

what you do is highlight some text on a page or put keyword in the google box , then press the smokey head button and it will search those keywords on google for the site you are currently on

Though it really sounded more like an attack on you itself and that your program would be the spyware. That is what I first took it as and then after reading his other statements it just seemed to hammer it home some more.

p.s. i have set the refresh rate for 5 minutes so it will regrab the list of gfy threads every 5 minutes..

in internet explorer theres a button on the bottom of the list to let you refresh the list manually and it also displays when the list was last refreshed.

i know i was just giving matt a hard time because he was being his usual self..

the button is just a google toolbar button so it cant really do much at all. nothing "spywareish" anyways , its just an xml feed
