They made a lot of money in the past and they still make some ok sales and are too afraid to change. They think if they change the site their surfers will not like it and won't come back anymore and then they won't get sales anymore.

The Hun's users aren't going there for the design, much like any TGP site. I'd argue the lack of change with the Hun for so many years is one reason why, as a TGP, the site is still so popular among its user base.

A lot of people these days cannot see the value in these "old" sites, especially picture ones. Others know how to take full advantage of them and/or convert the traffic from them consistently.

Next to impossible to find a "clean" TGP or Tube site - and do not tell me most tube sites are clean with their fucking ad-laden players and pages.

When you go to The Hun, you get what you click on - not a massive wall of confusing, blinking ads.

oh, and why to change when you can start new tube and just put big banner in header, "thehun tube" and people will go there same as if its another page of original hun, or replaced original page, what may bring your traffic down. sure hun lost traffic, but there are still people who likes linklist and thats why sites like hun, thumbzilla, al4a and others are still like they are

nice to have them still around!

Talked to a guy here in town that works for adobe and that's his job is to test impressions of different designs on the site and see how they work.

Of course scumbag owners can always see who is pushing them the most sales and then copy those sites (assuming they look good). MarkGTS did this I believe.

Of course, there have been many other industry message boards that have had their moments and tried to do something different than GFY to attract visitors. Most of them have fallen while GFY still stands with the biggest change in years being the post voting system that was then removed.
