I have a buddy who has a 70" XBR and it's insane! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the sony stuff. $2k sounds like a great deal as well!

I have the 62 inch Toshiba DLP (62hm195) and I fucking love mine. It's spoiled me so much when I see someones 50 inch TV I think it's too small. You will love it trust me.Comment

Just make sure you don't buy Samsung's comparable model(DLP). The HDMI port on mine is making my picture shaky, and I've only had the fucker for 2 months. Will never buy Samsung again.

The last two EXPENSIVE .Sony products I purchased were disappointing. So was their lack of response. Both developed color blotches on the screens.
My CHEAP Sony stuff has worked perfectly forever. I have a small B/W portable in my barn that's 25 years old, covered in dust and works perfect.Comment

I'm still tossing up whether to get the Aquos or the Bravia. Heard the Sony is better, but I'm very anti that company since the last 2 things I bought from them fucked up, and the way they try and lock down all their kit / media formats.Comment
