I hope Hughes wins over Serra. I think he just got lucky with that fight with St. Pierre and caught him at a bad moment, with some serious health issues two of his family members had at the time. -

I have known him since he was 14 years old. I was there when Dean Lister, Rico Rodrigues (former UFC Champ) and Karo had there 1st pro fight. It was in a back yard in Harbor City.. Karo broke some guys knee with a leg bar. Been friends with him ever since..

Karo is a great. I don't know if he's at the point where I'd place him at the top of the division quite yet, but he certainly has the potential to make it there.
This is the first I heard of another GSP vs Hughes. That kind of disappoints me, I really wanted a Hughes vs Serra. I was really crossing my fingers for a Hughes victory over that mouthpiece. I think GSP will take it again this time.Comment

It has been official news for several days now that Serra is out of the fight due to injury and Hughes is fighting St. Pierre. As far as the finale of the contestants, I think that George will take it all. One of the other guys is supposed to have to quit before or after the semi-finals due to injury, probably the farmboy, (forget his name) due to his deep cut he suffered in his fight in the quarter-finals .Comment

I agree.. George is a real tough guy. He reps Australia for the Abu Dabi invitational. Black belt in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu and he has a great work ethic!!
