My experience in life tells me he's saying that to win over the religious crazy people. I heard the same talk when Reagan was President about strip clubs. But for that entire presidency strip clubs flourished like I've never seen since (I was married to 2 feature dancers during the 1980's and 1990's)
Then I heard it again when Bush took office in 2000. We were making great money online in adult in the 1990's and we were genuinely scared because of John Ashcroft being Attorney General.
Instead...the porn industry online got even MORE lucrative and by 2005 we were making twice what we had in the 1990's.
I'd take all that "shutting down porn" stuff with a grain of salt. If it ever happens it won't be because a President says so. The only people "shutting down porn" are guys like Fabian by stealing everyone's content and giving it away for free.
The problem guys like me are faced with...is that if you are a business owner, it's damn hard NOT to vote Republican. But when you look at how the religious right have taken over the party it's scary.
The "real" Romney was as close to being a "real" Republican as I've seen in a while.
Just like the "real" Obama is absolutely NOTHING like the "campaign" Obama...I'm hoping that the "real" Romney would be the one who governs and not the "campaign" Romney.
Having said that...I'm thinking of voting for Johnson. He makes more sense than Obama and Romney combined:
