    What is the best free website stats out there?

    i have the best one for pay, but i have a bunch of domains that i am currently using google analytics on and if there is something better out there that is web based or what not that i can just install a little snippet of code in a footer include or something like that, it would be ideal. so far goog analytics is doing the best job i can find close to the paid service i have.

    what is THE best free stats out there?

      statcounter.com is what I use for quick and easy set-up (i.e. gallery tracking)

          AWStats is my preference.

          I have a few licenses for Mint which I do like even though it's pay to play.

              gonna check out mint now. i mean if its really cheap then i dont have a prob with it, but my other stats engine is 20 bucks per domain per month and with 60 domains that i'd like to monitor with it, its just not feasible.

                  Mint is great. It's like $20 per domain or some piddly amount like that. Definitely worth if if you're only needing it for a few domains.

                      yah 20 bucks isnt crap for good stats, but i have a bunch of domains that the simpliest ones will work, i guess im just fishing for the best free thing for the peripheral feeders out there to save money.

                                      Has anyone done a side by side with statcounter and google? Google always seems to short change the traffic (far less than my other counters that is).
