we have i5 quads 4gb ram and ssd's with 30MBps upload fiber. we tested sony cams with hdmi connection and logitech 910 and 920 cams and every codec know to man with only 4 sites open using super webcam as the split (a couple sites dont seem to like the new version of split cam). with the sony setup pc usage was +90%, the 920's around 90% and the 910's at 86%. Still tinkering but these loads on the PC cant be sustained longterm. so many capture cards available but the good stuff is far too pricey when you buy stuff in quantities of 8.
I do know a guy that has rewritten ALL the broadcaster software and he claims his PC usage in in the 50-60% range with the rewrites.

Yes many studios mandate girls work multiple sites but damn 13 wtf those girls must have mush for brains after a couple hours online. We only let them use 4 simultaneously or the customer begins to be negelected.
