    The Jerk that ripped our CELEBRITY TAPE and shared that via rapidshare (PIC)

    I just thought this deserves it's own thread:

    Here is the story in points:

    - we have released on thursday night a tape with young dude who banged a chick in our house about one and a half year ago, before he got famous in a local version of something like "Big Brother" (it's not exactly the Big Brother series but it kills the TV rankings) - described in the other thread

    - registered a web with his name / put that up there for a paid download and gave it serious publicity in the media

    - within 24 hours someone ripped the flash video to AVI and it was free to download via rapidshare and a couple of torrents

    THAT SURE PISSED US OFF:

    - got the IP adress of the upload
    - found an advertisement on a local web associated with that IP adress
    - including the name, adress and a complete contact info
    - also found out is also a member of a certain online adult dating / video sharing community that sends traffic to our site

    HERE IS THE POETIC PART:

    Imagine you are an early twenties overweight PC jerk sitting in your knickers by the PC, you spend hours ripping that video out then you send links to all of your early twenties overweight PC jerk friends sitting in their knickers by the PC and you have the satisfying feeling of the Robin Porn Hood but ...

    BUT THEN:

    - received a call, almost shitted his pants
    - we have his confession recorded
    - will pay us a fee not to face the court
    - the money will be used especially for

    PROPER PUBLICITY IN MEDIA so this will serve as a role case to make other jerks aware not to fuck with anyone's copyrighted content!

                                      Nuff said. I know here in the US you are perfectly allowed to try to settle with parties and are encouraged to do so. Also settlement offers typically can not be used against you in court, like if you asked for 500 and then sued for 5000.00

                                                                      If the "semi-celeb" guy have been paid and signed a release at the moment of shooting 18 months ago, it is NOT fucking someone. Now this is the part that is missing in this story...

                                                                      It's like you legally shoot (Paid, Release signed , AIM test, etc...) Jane Shmoe in a hardcore movie today, don't release it, and she becomes the next American Idol in 2 years from now...

                                                                      But ripping and putting it on torrents is just plain wrong...

                                                                                                  Our story is that we own the only club in the world where you can get laid for free but have to sign a release and disclose a valid ID.. that's the story..

                                                                                                  Recently we have also launched the "private couples only" and "all inclusive online swinger nights" on saturday and sunday, where only couples end females are allowed, and we broadcast and record wild stuff of those who get everythig on the house and then receive own DVD - it's the only pure REALITY concept out there.. take it.

                                                                                                  Besides that we have two TV deals in place in UK and Italy , are on mobile in 14 European countries and recently released the best selling DVD title with private couples, that was bought by every 1000'th citizen here.. Seems like people actually FEEL the difference.. (if I was only able to get rid of more DVD and TV rights...)

                                                                                                  We own documents and records from all those more than 26 000 guests who visited our house since the launch in april 2005 - 60 pct. of them are foreign and we produce three times more adult content than VIVID.. (although lots of that is crap because real people AIN'T usually t Rocco's and Ron Jerremies)

                                                                                                  This guy was just one of the regular guests back in the day.. that's the whole story - no drama at all.
