They weren't obligated to take the Zoey Zane site down, no one probably would have thought any less of them if they left the site up, but they did so out of respect for the performer and her friends and family during this difficult time.

There is a national morbid curiosity that they could have easily profited from, especially with the even bigger blitz these past few days once her adult occupation became public knowledge.

I just want to say I have the utmost respect for you guys. What you did was classy, and it goes a long way in my book.

Tampa can't even keep up...The media is out of control, X-biz even writes a story on it all, and it seems to me their just adding fuel to the fire. More and more pictures just keep popping up everywhere, the poor girl only has a website for a short amount of time.

It's not like she was the #1 selling solo girl out there, but they have her as being this hard-core college girl, that lead this secret night life online....as if the internet isn't a 24/7 deal. The media has even made the invesigation harder for the police, her poor family has been slammed with all this.

Tons of people trying to make money of this, god I can't believe what money does to people.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. Sorry i have not been posting much but i am sure you all know why. Ever since the story broke about Zoeys adult career i have been fighting with most of the media outlets to get the wrong facts removed and most of the major news have corrected the info. Now its the smaller media outlets i am having trouble with. I have tried vigorously to get them to remove the title porn star but they are saying since she masturbated on video its considered porn.

I am very pissed off with the Associated Press with doing a piss poor job of what should of been responsible journalism. I spoke to the news writer that took the statement of this "David Thomas" and she said his facts checked out with is complete and utter bullshit. Then i had to do a few thing to prove i was who i was then they believed me. They killed the news press and sent out bulletins out to everyone. But by then the damage has all ready been done.

The bank account has been setup for the reward fund for the capture of Isreal Mireles. I wanted it to get it up sooner but there was several things we had to do on the banking side. Bank Of America has a special unit i guess you would call it that handles these types of things. We will be updating zoeyzane.com in a few hours with the reward detail.

Once again i thank everyone for the kind words and support we are receiving from the adult community. I know a lot of you have posted your support and sent emails to which i have not had a chance to reply too.

you are not kidding, lots of people would have signed up to " see the dead girl naked". Which is sick. We are all here to make money but I think a few things transcend $ and come down to human decency, this being one of those things. Just like not scamming or stealing from someone says a lot about your character, so do actions like this. At the end of the day some times haven done the right thing is worth more than having a few extra bucks in your pocket.

The worst of it is that the media tries to make her out to be less of a victim, and tries to put a moral spin on it. They know her job had nothing to do with the crime, yet they try to sell the story with words like "porn star" to garner attention. I feel so sorry for the family.

and she was only in the industry for a couple months, working on a solo girl site and it sounds like she only did a couple solo girl sets. But that = porn star ????? And to make it even worse companies like AVN keep recycling the same shit press and pass it off as their own and they don't even take the time to correct the " porn star" part. We all know that they know better than that. I guess they were to lazy to take the 10 seconds to edit the story and it was easy to copy and paste the AP's articles.

Ashamed but this is the type of stuff you don't hear about in the media.
The media will try to make her out to be a "dirty" person not how people in this industry looked out for her family and have the biggest respect for her friend and family.
