It really is a fascinating miltary problem. What you need are berserker anti-mob robots, like metal monstars kept in a cave under an embassy, that can be activated for anti-personal attacks against irregulars.

Cool when you think about it. Makes me want to write a short story about the things.

Then of course the same technology will be used to kill americans when they finally grow a pair and try to rebel against wall street. Way cool.
