I can see his point. These people present themselves on DP as ones who truly expect it, prepare for it, know what it will be, devote their life to preparation and if there isn't a little hope in them they will be proved right they are truly insane. Often we hear them say "

Their preparations are stupid and ineffectual. One guy was building a compound out of Containers that would stop a 33. Calibre bullet and can see a radius of 500 feet from the compound. So he's safe from a person with a 33. calibre rifle. Ex military with anything better have his balls. My friend can pick him off from a 1000 meters away and his buddies will turn up with enough fire power to remove the compound.
If the shit hits the fan, the army will step in and anyone who tries to stop them had best be able to match them in arms or training to stand a chance. Don't believe me?
