well, it was probably then a rash decision, made in a moment of grief, and not a suicide based on a lasting depression and lack of desire to exist in this world. He may have been drunk or otherwise of lowered inhibitions.
so, you can imagine how he might have done this, and come to see that the fact that he didn't leave a note is an indication that it was in a sense an accident.
not a true accident, in the sense of an act of fate, he participated in it, but, not entirely an intentional suicide in the classic sense either.
no way for us to know. but maybe if you think of it as a kind of accident it will help.Comment

I am sorry for your loss and I mean that sincerely.
I do not think that a note would be much comfort to you. You seem to understand what drove him to it and a note would only serve as a way of explaining the inexpiable. Remember the good times you shared with him, laugh at the jokes you and he had and know that he knew you loved him.Comment

I lost a brother as well. Very tough. My brother had cancer and fought the pain and fought the inevitable end every hour of every day. Your brother threw his life away ..... Doesn't make sense.

Wow sorry to hear this, I was at that point a while ago with everything that had happened to me in the last few years, I put my gun in my mouth at the park cocked it and was about to pull the trigger and saw my little sons face appear to me, didn't say anything etc.. just a picture and that is what saved my life...
I took the gun and sold it that day and started to talk to my family and today I am so fucking happy I didn't pull that trigger, I am here happier and still able to watch my two kids grow up and help them grow up!
