If you can make 15,000 last 8 months with your whole family leeching off of you, then that's awesome.

From a financial perspective, you're supposed to have 6 months income saved up. So, if just took the $15,000 that is $2,500/month. $2,500/month in terms of yearly income is around $40k/year (with taxes factored in).
Now a lot of people making $40k/year do not have 6 months income saved up. To be making that much and have that much saved up means you're REALLY ontop of your financials and are smart+conservative with your money.
So, you were either
A) Extremely smart with your financials and money
B) Making way more than $40k/year
C) You actually have the worst luck known to man
D) You're simply lying
If it's A or B, then you have the means to survive. You have skills to have been making that much, and you probably have things around you can pawn or sell. If you're in hard times then you have to live like you're in hard times. You can't be driving around your Mercedes asking for help on the car & insurance payments.
If it was C, then oh well get a new job. If you were making as much as you say you were. Then just take a pay cut finding another job. For someone supposedly of that caliber it should be a walk in the park getting a job.
But I think it's D, because I don't know man. You've posted that you were making $90/hour? That's 180k+/year. You shouldn't be asking for hand outs if that is the case. That is top 2-3% of the population in this country. No one with the skills/ability to make that much money needs a handout. Sounds to me like you were just a typical "gfy baller" like we've seen over the years.
