Family Guy has some very funny, and smartly written scenes. However, on the whole I find episodes very disjointed and sometimes hard to sit through. It feels like they write a bunch of funny, stupid, absurd scenes and then try to paste them together into some semblance of a story. The South Park episode on Family Guy nailed it.

I also think you have to be at least 35 or so to get a lot of the jokes - many of which focus on obscure 70s and 80s TV/movie culture.

They throw 50 jokes at the wall....something always sticks, but not really that often. South Park is smarter and funnier. Futurama is the best.

It seems the more I watch Family Guy the more I enjoy it. That clip definitely made me laugh.

And what's with Fox having the clip removed? How does that help the show? It's one clip... seems to me that if someone saw that, laughed, then checked out the show on tv that Fox would win right?

Love Family Guy but I've not really liked this latest series, I watched the first 3 or 4 and didn't really find them all that good. The Star Wars episode was just dull and had been done 100 times before.
