Big fan of cuttlefish and octopi myself. If you ever get to Seattle - plan on getting in the water too - world's largest octopus species live in the Puget Sound and there are some amazing dives, with shore entry, to see them. I would be happy to be a tour guide.
Even if you don't dive in a dry suit you can easily rent the wet suits that provide enough thickness on the core to do the trick.
Here is one of my faves from Seattle Aquarium no less... They don't say it in this clip, but the octopus in this video was actually in a completely separate tank - it was squeezing out a a hole about the circumference of a golf ball, crawling across the floor, and entering the main tank, killing the sharks, then going back out, back across the floor, into its own tank again.
