I made a simple observation. BF acknowledged it.

Talked to you in the past, and you were helpful. I respect most of your opinions on GFY, despite I do not always agree. From what I've heard, you're a good developer. You're welcome to your opinion, and I admit being a bit more ornery over the past couple of weeks than normal. I simply have a lot of things going on.Comment

In the case of CS though, I think you are wrong. Yes, he fucks around (don't we all?) but he has also contributed some very good posts when he puts his "serious" hat on and he is rarely, if ever, nasty towards other people. His humor is self depracating for the most part and I have never observed him trying to take advantage of anybody on this board.

That being said, I do not know the guy, where you seem to better know about his posting past, and business. As before in other posts, I openly admit I only read about 10% of the main forum threads, and even less in some of the sub forums, so I am not going to know or recognize everyone past or present.
You could be correct in that regard. But as already admitted, my patience and tolerance is simply a lot less of late. So that obviously is also a factor to some degree. Even the BF is not perfect and happy go lucky all of the time.

There is no thread you can link too that will get me to change my mind in regards to that 'CurrentlySober' guy. When 95% of his posts are the same nonsense over and over for years. If he makes the occasional gem to show he's got a couple of brain cells left, so be it.
But I think many, not all, can say that someone taking the time to repeatedly post "I love poo" or "I can't afford (fill in the blank)" all day, every day, 9 of 10 replies is asinine or mentally ill. Especially for someone who claims "to have been around" longer than anyone else, and achieved any level of success in this business.
I think most can agree that sane, successful people, do not spend their free time doing something like this.
