We have a daughter in the house - but much of the time she wasn't around when stuff was happening. And the times she was here and things went on...we knew it wasn't her.
One particular time she heard the exact same female voice (in the kitchen) that I'd heard in the third loft office - she described her as saying "Helloooo..." exactly the way I heard it.
Another time she heard a man's voice downstairs and it scared the hell out of her - shook her up quite a bit.
But the majority of things seem to happen when she's not even in the house. And many things have happened when I'm the only one here. I rule out anyone playing pranks for shits 'n giggles.
