Pretty dirty and shady way of doing biz. Least you can do is use your OWN alt text and put a banner up to the paysites the image(s) belong to. Get your rankings the honest way or bend over and hoop your forehead.

Seriously, who is making the scripts used to do this to people?

Join the club. There's an asshole out there who uses a sound-a-like / spell-a-like name of ours (and imlive and even a couple of Manwin properties), copy-pasted text and dozens of fake profiles, and is even daring to try to trademark or copyright it all or some shit. Thieves are idiots.

I want the actual owner to admit. Even though I am pretty sure they won't since it would expose them as cheaters and thieves. But I would love to see the logic behind why they think it's ok to A: steal content, B: Steal the exact wording and C: Profit from damaging another person's site rankings over the long-term.

As far fetched as it would be.. I would also like to boot-fuck some sense into them.. but a man can dream right?

The guy is posting the source of the picture. I'd say the ones whom are posting the originals with no links are the bigger problem here. But yes I agree...also what's the poor of having a site that is not being monetized. We are Here to make money....at least I'm here to try and do so.

That doesn't matter that he has link-backs to my posts. He does not have permission to do so and is benefiting his own growth from my own work. Think about it, he devalued the alt text on my own post by copying my alt text then linking to me. Not entirely dropped off the face of the earth devalued, but devalued still. The person is most likely building these up to get the rankings then monetize at a later date.

It would be the same as standing in front of a store with an item shoplifted from the store and giving it away to the first customer walking towards the doors using the same sales techniques employed inside the store and fronting to be an employee. Basically. It's still theft and misrepresentation. If he put up a banner or link to the paysite and used his own text, I wouldn't care. I'd welcome it as it would be mutually beneficial. Which is another reason I'd like to speak with the individual for future occurrences. Might as well try and make a mutually beneficial deal instead of just DCMA'ing his ass continuously to do damage control.

We've started to get hit by the same fuckwit... IP is 213.174.154.5. At least he is linking back to the site. On the instances he is using our content, pics do not go anywhere.
