"We Don't Need Another Hero" (Tina Turner), heavy metal cover (video) !!
Check out this kick ass version of Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Another Hero" done by a Finnish vocal super group called "Northern Kings". Check out the video here http://youtube.com/watch?v=xKwQKqQ8MMY I'll admit, they're not the cutest bunch of guys, ha ha ha.
They put out a cd of 80s covers from Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" to Mr. Mr's "Broken Wings" and Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" and Peter Gabrielle's "Sledgehammer". I personally don't care for their version of Rebel Yell though, it's too slow. You can check out the other songs on Youtube.
I don't know about you, but I'm a metalhead and always a sucker for 80's covers, so this is right up my alley. Here's their MySpace for a background on the group - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndid=241416211
