    A tale of two license transfers.

    One is a big client who kept all his paperwork and run a tight ship. He's selling and moving out of adult. Simple job to just issue new licenses to the new owners. No charge.

    Second one is a bit more complicated. Someone bought a site with content from someone who has since died, who bought it from someone else. So the third owner is now selling up and can't sell because they have no paperwork or clue about the original buyer of the legitimacy of the content. No 2257 or license. To make things worse, some of the sites don't seem to allow access to the members area.

    So I have to scour every site, every collection of sets and videos, recognise our content, then find the set number and write a new license. So far been at it 6 hours as I had no idea of the work involved, I under charged them.

    I'm soldiering on. Wish I had charged more though. Going to relax in the garden, been at this since 8.00 this morning after 3 hours yesterday.

    Anyone who thinks I should do this for free can STFU.

                      Everyone knows he should do it for free. But, he's totally fucked financially so he has no option but to try and totally fuckover anyone that has done business with him to try and get some more cash. He rents a shack in a cabbage field. He drives a 20 year old car that is probably his wife's. He lies about being retired, yet as this thread shows, he is still working and sending his wife out to work a minimum wage menial job to cover the bills.

                      No wonder he's trying to screw over everyone, he's desperate.

                                                      This content is about to be sold to the 4th owner and somewhere along the line the mandatory paperwork got lost? Sounds like tough shit to me.

                                                      I wouldn't spend 2 days working on it unless I was getting paid that's for sure. Paul has no obligation to those idiots.

                                                                          Like anyone would want to pirate your content. a VHS dub of a VHS dub has better quality. Also, the girls you have shot with look a little distributed every time you get near them.

                                                                                              If this were anyone else but me. They would all be singing a different song. I could just say, screw you and stop them from selling their sites and costing them money.

                                                                                              Not one of them will face the possibility that the original owner, downloaded it from a site that didn't watermark the content.

                                                                                              As you said, I have zero obligation to these people and could say. Delete it all, as you don't have a clue what is me and what isn't. Then all they have are some crappy domains to sell. They won't get much for the traffic or site designs.

                                                                                              Someone is right. I should of told them the hourly price and charged them as I went. Still I gave a price and should of told them more.

                                                                                              Where as the other guy get's it for free because he has all the paperwork and I do owe him an obligation.
