I agree also to a certain point. Nevertheless I did buy it. Why? It will make the plans I have for it (or the plans I have for other domains) probably a lot easier. Would free-webcamsex12345.com (which is available for $10) accomplish the same for me? Maybe (but more difficult)
Another reason. I had this type of situation before. (it's very annoying when the same domain keeps ranking above you) At the time I did NOT buy that domain, I regretted it ever since. Now the guy doesn't want to sell it anymore, he is making too much money out of it. Similar situation, only this time I did buy it.
Did I pay too much? Probably yes. Will I profit from it in the end? Probably yes
