I'm thinking of getting a server. Here's the requisites :
Must have mysql. Should be able to do 10-100k queries an hour without hicups. Hicups are queries that take a second to complete sort of thing.
Must have php.
Must be able to regularly serve 100k hits an hour. Must be able to handle occasional bursts. The higher it can handle them, the better.
Must not, under any circumstances, suspend websites without having first talked with the webmaster (wherein talking is defined as having exchanged communication, as opposed to other things, like say announcing) and given said webmaster time to update his name servers. This time doesn't have to be more than six or twelve hours, but it has to be there.
Now, if you think you can fit that bill, let's see if we can get you a sale.
