    did you knoa that turkeys and peacocks are the same species?

    they can mate and have offspring.

    they're basically teh same animal, except the peacock male has a much larger tail feather display.

      The fastest I've ever seen my dog run was when she was chased by a bunch of peacocks on a friends farm ... lol

          Actually, the turkey and the peacock are different species.

          The misconception that they are the same species dates back to Columbus, who thought that he had landed in India (hence the natives were referred to as Indians), and he mistook the indigeneous fowl in the New World, as the peacock, which was a common bird in India.

                  The term peacock refers to the male of the species which is the one that has the brightly colored tail. The female is called the peacunt.

                                                                              I will never forget the time I was up on a telephone pole that was surrounded by a bunch of trees.

                                                                              I was working away when all of a sudden I heard something rustling in the leaves. I looked up and there was a peacock above me, shitting!

                                                                              I was lucky that he was off-centered because as those turds came flying by I could see they were the size of what would come from a small dog.
