Gotta go with the stuffing. Every year my Mom tries some kind of homemade recipe for stuffing but I have always liked Stove Top better. Even though the rest of the family is eating homemade, she always makes me some Stove Top.
I cant wait for the green bean caserole and candied yams...
Although its all about the whole giant mounded plate... I love those two the best during the "meal" and the next couple days in the fridge afterwards...
I also make this apple cashew salad, very similar to a waldorf, but I like cashews.... Im also thinking of making little snicker chunks for it... like slice a snicker bar up and slap that in there too...
The leftovers, honestly best part of thanksgiving. Which brings the leftovers sandwiches. Bread, mayo, mustard, stuffing, turkey, cranberry, salt n pepper. Yum.
Now if it is from the actual day split between the turkey I personally make (not doing it this year), sausage apple stuffing, or Brussel sprouts with the cheddar cheese sauce.
Then again though my selection of deviled eggs always seem to vanish well before dinner, and several of the other appetizers go quick. Namely the home cured olives, meat and cheese tray, the George dip (do not ask wife's families special dip), and then these killer salami slices filled with a cream cheese an horseradish mixture and a pepperoncini pepper.
