Is Montreal the porn capital of north america after LA ..lets see

From my last shout out it seems a lot of major players are based in Montreal.

Is it the biggest/best place to be outside of LA to be in the adult industry?

It has its own Montreal show (qwebecexpo) great parties and some of the most talented webmasters in the biz.

Hum I'd say yes but Toronto is not small neither...

Since we have only 3 "Major" Big cities in the whole country, Mtl, Toronto and Vancouver. I do believe most of companies are based in these...

but hey, what do I know ?

Well, glad to see the rest of Canada fails to realize where all the money comes from and it works for me. There's more than 3 major cities in Canada, but operating from Edmonton, I can keep it fairly low profile as far as a global scene goes, advertise locally and get an immense bang for my buck thanks to the buying power of Albertans.

Montreal was the pioneer city for Canada back at the beginning. There was us, Gamma, and a handful of others that had a large presence. I know we still have some large players here in Montreal, but I really don't know if we have been surpassed by other cities. I really no longer pay much attention ;)

I think as a collective Canada stands out, like we could use more higher parties, and really celebrate are Canadian webstars and porn stars, but it will take a lot more then what we are doing now to get it on the same level as LA.

From what I know and seen I am pretty sure I am the only black female in toronto doing hardcore with a high-def website with photos, videos, webcam shows, and busting my ass to get out to as many shows as I can, but it's not like LA where I know when I visit there I can see 30 to 60 black porn stars male or female in one week.

Based on the amount of Webmasters , Programs ( not small ones either ) and the Revenue being generated ......Toronto is pretty damn hard to beat. Toronto is a major player not just in Canada , but all of North America.
You add in some of the smaller cities just outside of Toronto and it's even bigger player !

what Tony said....The problem with sponsors in TO is that it's always the same 5 companies forking out the cash. It becomes difficult to justify the expenditures if there's no ROI. Toronto does well with smaller events where there's more intimate gatherings like GFY XMAS, which started out as a private visit from Eric and Sunny and turned into a huge party!!!

I'm working on something for next June...keep you posted!

I chose to launch in montreal over the usa as I felt it had a more relaxed attitude and I felt that the usa maybe subject to more rules and political issues

The reason for montreal instead of bc or toronto was it seemed friendly and less of a huge city type situation than toronto

just my 2 cents

I think a lot more XXX businesses will relocate to montreal over the comming years

But my next move is Montreal (a place where folks like me tend to fit in a lot more).
