There should be a charge to post. Many of the other major boards already do this.

I believe DP also limits you to one bump, per thread, per month.

I think you should be Limited to basically 1 Post Block per Company. So i would have a Rebel Ads Accou nt/ When i have something new to offer i add it to that thread. Or if the re is an ability to change the title to match the new post even better.

Only users who registered more than a year ago and have a minimum of 1000 posts should be allowed to start threads there.

Why do you care about those bumps, if you come to look for domains you just read the first post of the thread. But I agree to limit of bumps, maybe 1 per day, or better 1 per week.

Because you have some guys bumping 6-12 threads back to back, multiple times a day. Then the next one does it, and so forth. You get the same guys on page one every day. Instead of listing all of their domains or content in a single thread, they list them by each single domain, or each content package just so they can play this bumping game.

At some point, it gets to be impossible to find the good stuff through the complete shit.

So I just had a look and not sure what's the problem in that forum. People should probably specify what they are selling (like a domain name), as well as the expected price if there is one, in the subject, and if they have multiple things, keep them in the same thread. But apart from that, what's so hard about reading it? Are there any examples of people bumping multiple times a day?

It's AVN's forum so their decision. But I think a 1-3 free new topics a month and 5-10 free reply limit per month in that forum would be good. Then charge $5-$10 per new topic and $1-$3 per new reply overage. If they post in the main forum to be sneaky give them one warning a year and after that ban them for life until they pay a $50-$100 reinstatement fee.

I agree - multiple threads like that should be banned. List all your domains in one thread, multiple threads seems nothing else but retarded.
And of course do not bump it more than once a day, it looks retarded as well.

If you go there a couple times a month it's pretty easy to remember which threads/posters to avoid.
