A LOT.... America has almost 40 countries from the north in Canada to the south in Argentina and Chile... and there are a lot of Oysters...

You can find oysters everywhere that are harvested in the US. It is far from difficult unless your idea of oysters come in a can or a jar.

How the fuck else do I get them? I am a male and I'm not married and I don't have a live-in bitch. That means the only things I cook are things that are ready within 5 min from the microwave, or whatever the local restaurants will deliver to me.

Oysters are ready right from the shell. So unless you take 5 minutes to open one, you're set.

If they must be cooked, see above and use toaster oven for 3-5 min.

But anyway... Those chinese guys buy fishing licenses in south america (Falkland Islands and Chile) and they get their fish there.. then they go back to China and pay 100 bucks per month to any of the 1000 million chineses there that work 20 hours a day for pennies.. and then USA buys fish from those chineses..

It's like a big and cruel circle.

Fine ask the guy at the fish counter to pre shuck the damn oysters for you and to save the liquer. No work, no hassle, ready to eat with condiments or cooked. Hell they will even toss the shells into a spare bag if you have a friend you wish to impress.

Otherwise find a fish market that has a high amount of foot traffic, and find some fresh oysters in a plastic tub. Non frozen. You will notice most are from your nearest coast with the gulf being number 1, and then East or West coming up second. Though fresh is much better.

Then again just wash the knife and use the oyster rag as a jerk cloth that way your peni will smell like it really had some.

Tons of oysters in the US. Heck there's a town not too far from me called Oysterville and it lives up to its name. Problem is you can get them much cheaper in China. Hence the outsourcing for cheap-ass products like Chicken of the Sea.
