2257 and fucking tube sites

The soaring growth of these tube sites giving away 40 min. videos had me thinking...

If the US government wanted to enforce the 2257 laws, why don't they attack the big tube sites? Essentially the big tube sites will be fucked. It seems like all the bickering about 2257 might actually come in handy some day.

I'm a little tired, but to me it sounds like it could eventually work. These sites are growing fast and at this rate are distributing pirated content faster than anyone else. The worst part is they are making coin.

I'm sure if some people got together and made a big enough wave we could make the government look bad for going after the wrong people (honest producers).

Kinda like a smaller effect of what happened to Napster...

Anyways, just a thought.

Is the US gunna go "Liberate" the Countries that the tubesite owners live in??

Or are you forgetting that the US doesnt own the entire world?

Basically its only if you live in the land of the free that you are not free from 2257..

The rest of the world is just fine.

its called the web 2.0 user submitted silly loophole.

Nevermind it will be closed soon enough, big issue is 2257 is us law and not international. So they must be hit other ways and that can be via certain copyright laws and lawsuits to bring the hosts and not the sites down.

I completely understand your position of having a level playing field. It happens very rarely in the business world and I doubt if it would happen here. However the Adult Internet went to court for the right to publish porn they do not KNOW is legal. So can't complain if they suffer at the hands of people using that law.

Should the authorities visit the most likely to not conform rather than the ones most likely to conform? That is indicative of how dedicated the authorities were to catching people. If I'm wrong you will see lots of people dragged into court, if I'm wrong you will see none. How many have been charged to date?
