GFY needs to hire staff whose job it is to oversee the board, instead of trying to pawn off moderating duties to staff that have other responsibilities.

It wouldn't cost much, and would prevent these problems from happening again.

That thread was allowed to be up for WAY WAY too long before staff arrived to deal with it.

What if it had been a CP thread?

This is the problem I was addressing in another thread.. animal cruelty is sad, and illegal in most states if I recall. But issue aside, what about if it *WAS* CP - everyone viewing that thread could be charged with possessing CP on their computer...

I hate the fact that everyone is now acting like GFY always has been and must continue to be a place of the utmost professionalism

It's good that the cat thread is done - animal cruelty is disgusting (I never saw the video, so I'm just going to assume its pretty horrible). But at the same time, the level of bitching surprises me because every day I see stuff here thats just as inappropriate (like blatant scams, idle threats, disgusting pornographic pictures, racism, pandering, etc.)

Next time you're going to post something retarded/useless/inappropriate, think twice and maybe this place will clean up a bit (but probably not. it's an internet forum)

The thread was taken care of the second I saw it. Normally ICE would have taken care of this almost instantly, but unfortunately he is VERY VERY sick right now.
