That would be my logic...
Let's say an affiliate sends you some traffic on revshare and some on PPS (let's say cuz you have a promo). Turns out he makes you lose some money, but it's more than covered by what he's making you on revshare. You'd can him? He's making you profit overall and if you canned him on one program he might likely pull the other campaigns.
Anyhow if you lose money on an affiliate it usually comes down to three things:
A) Affiliate fraud.
B) Program is structured badly.
c) Running a promo that pays out more than you earn per member.
The affiliate should only get termed for situation A). The rest, is your own fault.

I just don't understand why programs just don't grow the fuck up and pay out on everything, lowering payouts to whatever damn figure they need to be when you're paying out on every sale. Blah blah competition, etc... If everyones shit is so good then they should educate your webmasters and show them the same money with a real reporting. Bulshitting only perpetuates pharse that is so many programs these days.

Lenny stole $3k froma companyythat posts here very often for a mailing he was suppose to-do. instead of doing the mailing like he promised he pocketed the $3k aparantly for his rent and some bullshit for his whore wife. why he didnt mail the company? because his hosting was down yet he was still saying he could do the mailing. he NEVER made good on the deal.

It seems to me by reading what you wrote in your post that he was promoting your service by using your tools and he was not sending very much, if any sales... Did you close his account for that reason alone?

I got a news flash for you peanut brain idiots that say it matters how much you make from the sponsor:
a shaving sponsor usually doesn't shave the same rate and the same period.
first month he shaves 1/4 and so you think you make more money with him so you dump more traffic.
next month they shave 1/3 from you and you think: "well, tough month, let's send more traffic"
and the next month you realize you will be making more money with sponsors that convert about the same but give you $15 a sale instead of $35.
