    I completely agree... but when you put a thread with a title of "Cute Cat Pics" your expecting to draw the polar opposite crowd. Now if the thread title was "Kitty killed by stiletto and set on fire..." - I wouldn't click, and life goes on.

    I this case I was expecting 50 cute cats, like I see on another popular mainstream board, but sadly, it is another troll attempt, by apparently someone who has been banned for this behavior before.

            Reading other responses it would appear that what you thought I said may not have been what I think you thought and even know I understand what I knew you meant, what I meant you knew may not have been understood from what you thought I said.

            In short, I was aligning on some of the side issues and not the key point of the thread.

                            I love how people twist words on here. I was replying to CuriousToyBoy post about what other cultures eat. People from other cultures eat different animal foods to us and that I do not condone if they are killed quickly. I was basically comparing killing an animal for food to killing an animal for fun. I did not say it would be ok for some one to post pictures of anybody eating cats. Those pictures are nothing but cruelty and there is a big difference in killing an animal for food and killing an animal just for kicks.

                                        Besides the intensity of factory farming overall for increasing profit margins which is what free range food products are suppose to be a break away from you are also going to obviously get sadists working in the industry.

                                        Just for the record i am certainly no vegetarian myself by any means but i do not use fast food places or restaurants except rarely and buy my food mainly below profit margin prices.

                                                So what you are saying is that if you kill yourself for food (for others, since you'll already be dead), that's okay.

                                                But if you kill yourself for fun, it's wrong.

                                                That is why it so incredibly important to leave a note when you kill yourself.

                                                                                I completely agree with the no torture or killing for fun opinions. And, tricking people into a thread is funny sometimes. NOT when you intend to harm or offend the viewers.

                                                                                However, I am sort of confused by some of my own thoughts on what is not acceptable treatment of animals (in general in the U.S.).

                                                                                What if it was a snake or a rat (instead of a cute cat) in the pics? Would everyone (who is offended) be just as offended?

                                                                                What about Bow Hunting? That is killing animals for fun (sometimes for food) with an old fashioned weapon that probably never kills the animal quickly. Imagine a deer with an arrow in it's ass trying to find a place to hide from the looney new bow hunter who is trying to shoot another arrow into his heart and or lungs (this time).

                                                                                What about trappers who catch animals in traps and the animals struggle with their paw trapped in a steele trap (for hours or days)? All this for a purse, belt or coat? I'd probably chew my own leg off to get away too!

                                                                                Now, I'm not advocating putting any of these pics up and tricking people into looking at them, but just think about how outraged you are about the killing of that animal and think about how you feel about the few things I posted. Just thinking out loud.

                                                                                I don't hunt. I like pets. I eat meat. I have leather shoes and belts. I'm not sure what I really think about how we treat animals around here.

                                                                                Most importantly, if I want to see pics of cats being killed, I'm sure I could find them somewhere. Don't make me see things (by tricking me) I don't want to see.

You will never see shit like this last longer then a few minutes or half a day MAX.
