    Hey, remember web 1.0? You're a veteran...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gmP4nk0EOE

I thought this vid was very interesting. Spare me if you've seen it or if you don't care, I'm just sharing.

Welcome to "Web 2.0". I'm young enough to not have known there's a difference till just now.

Hey asshole, I remember when I first started to download mp3's on IRC and no one know what the fuck it was. And also ripping mp3 with a walkman and a 1/8 jack able to your inline with a dos encoder.

A girl once told me "Give me 8 inches and make it HURT".

So, I fucked her twice and hit her with a brick.

The first MP3 I downloaded took me 58 minutes.

I then listened to it for hours because it took me an hour to download.

        Finally, I deleted it.

God damn this was a boring post, wasn't it?

I still refuse to fall for this whole web 2.0 crap. I have yet to really see anything that was not already being done when it was just the web. Then if it really is defined as user supported/interactions then hell that is BBS 1.0

Web 2.0 is evolution not revolution. True. But anyone who calls Web 2.0 bullshit hasn't fully grasped the concept yet. It's not only about users interacting. It's more about intelligent organization of data.

In 1996 I put together a web page with colours and inline graphics without actually being able to view it - I was logged into a unix shell. I didn't see it rendered until a few months later when I had access to a Windows machine.
